For their entry into the 2027 CAN qualifiers, Tunisia could only manage a 1-1 draw against Uganda on Thursday at the Hamadi Agrebi Stadium in Radès.

Still recovering from a failed 2026 World Cup campaign, Tunisia confirmed their poor form. Trailing on the scoreboard, they snatched an equalizer but never managed to take the lead.

The Eagles of Carthage, usually formidable at home in qualifiers, showed defensive and offensive shortcomings. The Radès crowd left frustrated.
