The Lionceaux fell this Sunday in the semifinals of the West Africa A qualifying tournament. This defeat denies them the final tournament scheduled in Ghana.
The last two available places for the U20 AFCON have been distributed. The names of the qualifiers have not yet been officially announced.
Senegal, usually accustomed to continental youth competitions, will therefore miss the Ghanaian rendezvous. A poor performance that could affect betting odds on the tournament.
The final tournament of the U20 AFCON will take place in 2027. Bookmakers will adjust their offers based on the qualifiers.
