The disappointment is immense for DR Congo. The young Congolese were eliminated from the UNIFFAC (Central Africa) qualifying tournament in Cameroon, and their fate was decided by drawing lots.
This cruel decision deprived DR Congo of a spot for the 2027 U20 AFCON. No further details have emerged about the exact circumstances of the draw.
The Leopards will have to wait until the next edition to try to qualify. A hard blow for Congolese football.
