After losing 2-0 in the first leg, MC Alger turned the tables this Friday at the Ali La Pointe stadium. The Algerians dominated Enugu Rangers 3-0 and clinched their place in the Champions League group stage. The qualifying goal came in the 92nd minute.
Raja Casablanca also secured their ticket. The Moroccan club will take part in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup. This is a welcome return for the recent title holders.
Both teams join the clubs already qualified for the rest of the competition.
