Nearly nine months after one of the most controversial finals in CAN history, Morocco and Senegal face each other before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS) this Thursday. The Lions de la Téranga contest the awarding of the title to the Lions de l'Atlas.
The hearing session is scheduled in Lausanne, Switzerland. But experts warn: the final decision could take several days, or even weeks. The TAS must examine the legal arguments of both parties before ruling.
For bettors, uncertainty looms. If Senegal wins its case, the CAN 2025 honour roll would change. Meanwhile, supporters from both camps hold their breath.
