The separation between Ghana and Carlos Queiroz was made official this Thursday. The Black Stars, beaten in their first two matches of the 2027 AFCON qualifiers, must recover before the double confrontation against Somalia in November.

According to Afrik-Foot, five coaches represent credible options for the GFA. Among them, Moroccan Walid Regragui, currently without a job, stands out for his run at the 2021 AFCON and his knowledge of African football.

Frenchman Patrice Beaumelle, who has been through Côte d'Ivoire and Morocco, also features on the list. Other names such as that of a former Ghanaian international or a Belgian coach are mentioned, but no official approach has been made yet.

The federation wants to close this file quickly to prepare calmly for the November meeting.
