Patrice Motsepe, president of CAF, announced that a decision will be made soon regarding the frequency of the Africa Cup. After opting for a 4-year cycle in December, he might return to an edition every two years.

Last December, CAF surprised everyone by announcing that the Africa Cup would switch to a four-year cycle.

But this Thursday, Patrice Motsepe hinted at a possible reversal. The president of the African Football Confederation confirmed that an announcement would be made very soon.
