Having become one of the key men for the Ivorian national team, Yan Diomandé is still struggling to find his place at Real Madrid. After the Elephants' defeat against Cameroon (0-1), he admitted: 'I don't play much there, that's the truth.'
The 21-year-old winger, however, showed his determination: 'I work hard to seize my chance. Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world, the competition is huge.' He insists he still has the coach's confidence.
With Ivory Coast, Diomandé has already scored several decisive goals. He hopes his playing time at the club will increase to confirm his status as a rising star.
