The young Paris FC midfielder, Patrick Zabi, hoped to make his debut wearing the Elephants' shirt. But on Thursday in Bouaké, he didn't come on. Questioned in the press conference, Hervé Renard gave his reasons.
“You don't do things carelessly,” replied the Ivorian coach. Renard explained that he preferred to integrate Zabi gradually, taking into account the competition and the match context.
The coach emphasized the importance of managing pressure for a young player. Zabi will therefore have to wait a bit longer before wearing the Elephants' shirt in an official competition.
