Moroccan coach Mohamed Ouahbi has to deal with several significant absences. Achraf Hakimi and Ismaël Saibari are suspended, while Brahim Diaz is being rested and is not on the match sheet.
Ouahbi's men hope to start their campaign well in front of their home crowd. Gabon, for their part, aim to cause an upset. The match is to follow live with commentary on Afrik-Foot.
