The president of Fecafoot, Samuel Eto’o, faces a new complaint for alleged embezzlement of funds. The Association of Amateur Football Clubs of Cameroon (ACFAC) has referred the matter to the Special Criminal Tribunal.
A delegation from ACFAC, led by Abdouraman Hamadou Baba, filed the complaint this Wednesday. The amateur clubs accuse Eto’o of financial misconduct in the management of the federation.
The respite was short-lived for the former striker, already under fire since his election. The case is now in the hands of the justice system.
