CAF has unveiled the list of nominees for the 2026 Coach of the Year award. Walid Regragui (Morocco) and Pape Thiaw (Senegal) are included, nine months after the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final between their two teams.
Despite their presence, the two coaches do not appear to be leading the predictions. Another candidate, not named in the dispatch, stands out as the favorite.
The winner will be announced at the CAF Awards ceremony. The performances of the national team coaches throughout the year will be judged by a jury.
