RS Berkane secures a second historic and consecutive qualification for the African Champions League. The Oranges join the group stage alongside Espérance de Tunis, which sets a record.
On the other hand, Ivory Coast loses its first club in the competition. AFAD Plateau stumbled at the gates of the CAF Cup, eliminated in the second preliminary round.
These results mark a turning point for Moroccan and Tunisian clubs, while Ivorians will have to wait for another opportunity.
