"For me, it's Mbappé!" Adebayor said exclusively to Afrik-Foot. The former Arsenal and Real Madrid star believes the Frenchman deserves the award this year.
Several candidates are in the running: Harry Kane, Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappé. But Adebayor comes down in favor of the Real Madrid forward.
Asked about the possibility of seeing another African footballer win the Ballon d'Or, Adebayor assessed the continent's chances. He didn't name a specific player but noted that Africa has top-tier talent.
